Whole-person care for long-term wellbeing
From The Ground Up Integrative Medicine brings evidence-informed conventional care together with nutrition, lifestyle, and prevention-focused support.
Our mission
Our mission is to help patients understand what is happening in their bodies and build a practical path toward better health. We take time to listen, look for root contributors, and coordinate care that respects both medical science and the lived experience of each person.
We welcome patients seeking thoughtful primary care support, chronic condition guidance, preventive health planning, and a collaborative approach to lifestyle and wellness.
Meet the practitioner
I am a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience in acute and chronic care settings. My background in conventional medicine, combined with advanced training in functional and integrative medicine, allows me to take a personalized, root-cause approach to healing and wellness.
As the founder of From The Ground Up Integrative Medicine, I focus on helping patients uncover and address the underlying causes of symptoms through evidence-based care, nutrition, lifestyle interventions, and advanced lab interpretation.
My areas of focus include gut health, hormone and thyroid balance, cardiometabolic health, chronic inflammation, fatigue, and sustainable wellness strategies. I am passionate about empowering patients to better understand their bodies and create long-term health from the ground up.
Outside of medicine, I am a wife and proud mother of five who enjoys hiking, sports, and spending time outdoors with my family. I believe true wellness is about creating a life filled with energy, balance, and connection.
What integrative medicine means
Integrative medicine combines appropriate conventional medical care with complementary approaches that support the body, mind, and daily habits.
Recommendations are grounded in current medical knowledge and tailored to individual goals, risks, and preferences.
We consider nutrition, sleep, movement, stress, relationships, environment, and medical history as connected parts of health.
Patients are active participants in care, with clear explanations and practical next steps after every visit.
